Within LingoHub, you have an option to invite and add collaborators on an Organization level and on a Project level.


Before you start, make sure you have the necessary permissions for adding and managing collaborators.

How to Add a Collaborator to the Organization 

1. Go the top Navigation bar and select “Members

2. Select either Invite Collaborator or Add new Collaborator

3. Insert the email Address of the collaborator you want to add and set permissions for your new collaborator. 

  • For Translators, you can select languages and give them Reviewer permissions for certain languages. Further, you are able to add them to all or specific projects in your organization.

4. By pressing the “Send Invitation” button, the new collaborator will receive an e-mail invitation and will be added to your organization.

How to add a Collaborator to a Specific Project

You can add a Collaborator to just one or several specific projects.

1. Go the top Navigation bar and select “Members

2. Choose and find the Collaborator who you want to add to a specific project. 

3. Click "Edit Permissions" to enter the Collaborator Details

4. Choose "Specific Projects"

5. Select the Projects to which you want to give access to your Collaborator for

6. Click "Save Changes"

How to assign different Roles to Collaborators

To manage your team and your project more easily, LingoHub has developed several different Permission Levels

You can select the Permission for the collaborator as soon as they accept your invitation to join your Organization. 

Here's how:

1. Access Collaborator's page by clicking "Members" in the Navigation Bar. All members of your LingoHub Organization will be listed. 

2. Click "Edit Permissions" to select the role for the collaborator. 

3. Choose one of the following options: 

  • Assign the Organization Owner permission
  • Select the Organization Administrator
  • Assign the Translator role, or add a Reviewer permission. 

3. Click Save Changes to apply permissions or Cancel to remove changes you've made.


You can assign Administrator and Translator roles both on an Organization and a Project level.
If you want to assign roles on a Project level, just select "specific project" option and select permissions for each project.
