How to create resource container in Lingohub?
Updated over a month ago

Within Lingohub, you can create resource containers that will help you organize content conveniently and apply Lingohub to the container/file structure as needed in your project's code.

To create a new container, follow the next steps:

  1. At the top navigation platform, hover on "Projects" and select the project for which you want to create a container.

  2. Inside the project, click on the "Resource" tab and then on the Plus icon.

  3. Select “Add file” or “Add folder.

  4. Add the entity name and select the language code separator type

  5. Click “Add folder/Add file.

While creating a container, you must add the variables for dynamic parts. These placeholders will be filled automatically based on your project language(s), allowing you to have a correct file name.

  • {locale} - this placeholder will be replaced with the language code, for example, en, en-UK, de-AT, etc. We support all language codes defined in ISO 639-1 standard.

  • {language_code_separator} - this placeholder will be replaced with the selected separator. You can choose a dash, dot, or underscore based on your needs.
