Managing API keys in your Workspace settings

Workspace owners and admins have centralized control over all API keys issued across their organization.

Workspace API key administration

Navigate to your Workspace menu, then API keys.

From the Active keys overview, owners or admins can:

  • View key overview: Review all active tokens, scopes (Workspace, Stack, or Member), management modes, project access, expiration dates, and last used timestamps.

  • Inspect permissions: Click Open API key details. to view full permission breakdowns.

  • Edit settings: Click the action menu and select Edit API key to modify names, expiration dates, or workspace and project permissions.

  • Regenerate tokens: Select Regenerate token to change the key's token. You must update the token in all affected services, as the previous token will no longer work.

  • Revoke access: Select Deactivate to disable key access immediately.

Enabling or disabling self-managed API keys

In the security settings, workspace owners or admins can also configure whether team members are permitted to generate self-managed keys.

For step-by-step instructions on managing this setting, see our guide on how to enable or disable self-managed API keys. [LINK]
