The primary goal of the translation memory is to provide the translators with appropriate suggestions based on previous experience. With translation memory, the localization process will speed up, and the number of issues will be decreased. The suggestions offered for pairs (source + target) depend on how much the text matches the stored values in the database.
There are two types of matches:
fuzzy matches, which are texts that match approximately (between 55% and 99%)
exact matches which correspond to the text exactly (100%)
Using translation memories for pre-translation
