Lingohub offers two types of translation memories - virtual and file-based.
Virtual translation memory
The virtual translation memory is filled by the selected project(s) that are set or belong to an company or group. You can choose from which projects exactly it should collect the information.
File-based translation memory
If you already have the localized files, you can import them inside Lingohub, and the system will take them into account and provide suggestions based on this data. Use TMX (Translation Memory Exchange) files to upload your existing translations. You can also setup them for the different project(s) and manage flexibly.
Congratulations! You finished the article about translation memory types. Create the translation memory and start the localization. If there's anything we can help you with, please contact our support.
