Audit log

LingoHub provides an Audit log dashboard to track and review workspace activity. Audit logs give workspace Owners and Administrators visibility into who performed specific actions, when they occurred, and which resources were affected.

Accessing the audit log

  1. Select Activity from the top main navigation bar.

  2. In the left sidebar under Activity, click Audit logs.

Understanding the audit log overview

The Audit log records workspace events across various categories, including Workspaces, Text management, Marketplace, API, Members, Labels, and Projects.

💬 Please note: The retention period for your audit log history depends on your active LingoHub subscription plan. Please refer to the Pricing Page for more information.

The main table provides a summary of each event:

  • Category: The broad area of LingoHub where the event occurred (e.g., Members, Projects).

  • Event: The specific action performed (e.g., invitation.create, general.delete).

  • Actor: The user or system process (e.g., LingoHub Robot) that initiated the action.

  • Project: The specific project associated with the event (if applicable).

  • Created at: The timestamp when the event took place.

Clicking on any individual row opens a detailed event view displaying additional metadata, event IDs, and raw event data payloads.

Filtering the audit log

To quickly locate specific activity, you can apply multi-condition filters:

  1. Click the Filter button in the top-right corner of the Audit logs page.

  2. Define your filter criteria using the available fields:

    • Actor: Filter by specific team members or system bots.

    • Category: Filter by event category.

    • Target: Filter by targeted resource names or IDs.

    • Event: Filter by specific action types.

    • Project title: Filter by assigned project name.

    • Created at: Filter by date ranges and timeframe rules.

  3. Combine rules using logical and / or operators as needed.

  4. Click Apply to filter the table.

Exporting audit logs

To download a record of your workspace activity:

  1. Click the Export button in the top-right corner of the Audit logs view.

  2. In the Audit log download modal, optionally check "Send me an email with the link when the file is ready to download" if you prefer an email notification when the export completes.

  3. Click Download to generate and save your export file.

💬 Please note: The export file only includes the log entries matching your current view and active filters. Clear all filters prior to exporting if you require a complete export of your retention period.
