What are text edits logs?
What are text edits logs?
Updated over 2 months ago

Text edits logs display all changes within the projects. See who, what, and when did, and transactions that apply to text segments. You can filter data by users, languages, and projects to find the required information faster.

Text edits logs are a basis for work reports with the difference that work reports collect the data summary of what will be done for a full day, while text edits logs collect all information.

For example, if we have the text segment "This is green car," which was translated as "This is a green car," then its status was changed to "Draft" and to "Translated." In text edits logs, you will see all this information.

If all these changes were made in one day, in work reports, you will see that "This is green car" was changed to "This is a green can" and marked as Translated.

If all these changes were made in one day, in work reports, you will see that "This is green car" was changed to "This is a green car" and marked as Translated.

To access the text edits, follow the next steps:

  1. Click on the user icon at the top-right corner and click "Logs & security."

Inside the text edits report, you can do the following:

  1. Filter the adits based on the date range, user(s), and language(s.)

  2. Overview of the name of the user(s) who made the edits in the specified range.

  3. Overview of the number of all modifications per user.

  4. Get the list of all edits within the workspace.

Awesome! You finished the article about text edits. If there's anything we can help you with, please get in touch with our support.
