To connect the Bitbucket repository to Lingohub, users must create API keys with the corresponding permissions. We have included a guide on generating a token for Bitbucket and linking it with the Lingohub platform.
Create a Bitbucket API key by following the steps below:
Sign in to the Bitbucket account.
Navigate to the repository you want to connect to Lingohub.
Choose "Security" β>"Access tokens"
Click "Create repository access token."
Provide the token's name. Select the following permissions scopes:
Required β "Pull request - Write" provides access to modify repositories and source code.
Optional β "Webhooks - Read and write" - allows you to synchronize new files with Lingohub automatically. If this scope is not selected, you will need to manually trigger imports of new files from the repository to Lingohub.
Click "Create."
Copy created token and store it.
How to connect Bitbucket to Lingohub?
In the Lingohub application, go to "Workspace" β "Plugins and integrations"
Find the Bitbucket plugin in the list (or do a search), and click on "Manage."
Enter the Bitbucket authentication name, and access token. Now you can use the Bitbucket authentication in your projects.
Create a Lingohub project and select the platform (the file format you want to localize). Click on "Create."
Note: Lingohub will synchronize only selected file formats. The following platforms don't support Git setup: Contentful, Figma, Storyblok, and Zendesk. Read how to connect other platforms in the integration section of our Help Center.
To manage your synchronisation, go to the newly created project and click "Plugins" to see the Git integration. Click on "Manage."
