How to set up Azure integration?
Updated this week

Create an Azure API key by following the steps below:

Note: Azure API key provides permissions only for the projects related to the account, not to the entire organization. Ensure the user account you connect to Lingohub has all the needed access to all the projects you want to localize.

  1. Sign in to the Azure account.

  2. Click on the user settings icon at the top right corner, choose "Personal access token," and select "+ New Token".

  3. Add the token's name, select the organization where you want to use it and set the expiration date (if you don't select the date, this token will expire in 365 days. By default, you can set up the token maximum for 365 days from the current date.)

  4. Select the following scopes for this token:

    1. Work items - Read and Build - Read (optional) β€” allow you to synchronize new files with Lingohub automatically. You will need to manually trigger imports of new files from the repository to Lingohub if this scope is not selected)

    2. Code - Read & Write (required) - provides access to modify repositories and source code.

  5. Click β€œCreate.”

  6. Copy the created token and store it.

How to connect Azure to Lingohub?

  1. In the Lingohub application, go to "Workspace" – "Plugins and integrations"

  2. Find the Azure plugin in the list (or do a search), and click on "Manage."

  3. Enter the Azure authentication name, and access token. Now you can use the Azure authentication in your projects.

  4. Create a Lingohub project and select the platform (the file format you want to localize). Click on "Create."

Note: Lingohub will synchronize only selected file formats. The following platforms don't support GitHub setup: Contentful, Figma, Storyblok, and Zendesk. Read how to connect other platforms in the integration section of our Help Center.

  5. To manage your synchronisation, go to the newly created project and click "Plugins" to see the Git integration. Click on "Manage."

Read how to manage Git plugin in our help center.
