Lingohub provides a GitHub integration that allows users to localize repository files quickly and smoothly. To connect GitHub to Lingohub, you have to install and set up the GitHub application. This article provides a detailed description of how to do this.
In the Lingohub application, go to "Workspace" β "Plugins and integrations"
Find the GitHub plugin in the list (or do a search), and click on "Manage."
Click "Install GitHub app," and you will be redirected to the installation page. Choose the account (you can install the Lingohub GitHub application for an entire company or a personal account.)
Select the repository or choose all and click "Install & Authorize." You will be redirected to the Lingohub app.
Note: If you choose "All," all your existing repositories and future new repositories will be accessible. If you choose "Only select repositories," you will manually enable each new repository in the future.
You will see your configuration inside the GitHub plugin and can use it for your projects now.
Create a Lingohub project and select the platform (the file format you want to localize). Click on "Create."
Note: Lingohub will synchronize only selected file formats. The following platforms don't support GitHub setup: Contentful, Figma, Storyblok, and Zendesk. Read how to connect other platforms in the integration section of our Help Center.
To manage your synchronisation, go to the newly created project and click "Plugins" to see the Git integration. Click on "Manage."
Read how to manage Git plugin in our help center.
