Note: You can connect only one Storyblok space per project.
Lingohub Storyblok integration enables seamless localization of CMS content for a multilingual customer experience worldwide.
How to connect Storyblok to Lingohub?
To connect your Storyblok account to Lingohub, you must first create a personal access token.
Note: The personal access token is a user-level token, meaning Linghub will have access only to the spaces and content that are available to the user.
In the Storyblok, click on the user icon at the bottom-left corner and choose "Account settings."
Click on the "Personal access token" and then "Generate new token.
Provide the token name and expiration date and click "Generate & Copy token."
Inside Lingohub, go to “Workspace” – “Plugins and integrations,” find the Storyblok plugin in the list (or do a search), and click on “Manage” and then on “Add a new authentication.”
Type the following data into the fields:
Name - name of the token you created;
Server location - you can find it inside space settings
Access token - the token you created and copied.
Click “Create.”
Awesome! You connected your Storyblok account to Lingohub. Now, let’s create a project to start translating your stories.
How to set up the Storyblok integration?
When creating a Storyblok project, select the authentication you created in the previous step and the space you want to work with.
Select the source language - this should be the original language of the content you want to translate (the target languages will be taken from your Storyblok internationalization settings.) Read → how to manage the languages in your Storyblok project.
Click on “Create.”
Inside the new Storyblok project, find the "Plugins" tab to see the Storyblok integration. Click on "Manage" to check which content was synchronized.
You can also set up filters to synchronize the needed content you want to translate with Lingohub. Read more about resource filers in our Help Center.
When you are satisfied with the matched stories, you need to import them to Lingohub. Click on the synchronization icon at the top of the page and choose "Pull."
Select “Import new content” and click on “Update structure.”Note: Updating the structure will sync the pages from the Storyblok with Lingohub. You should update the structure whenever you change the languages, stories, folders, etc., or when you want to synchronize other stories.
The import will take some time (generally from a few seconds to a few minutes). Once the import is done, you will see all the content in the Resources tab.
Lingohub Tip: Recheck the resource filters if you can't find the needed content inside the resources list. Now, you can start translating your Storyblok project.
How to add a new language to the Lingohub Storyblok project?
Inside Storyblok, click on “Settings” in the admin panel and choose "Internationalization."
Find the needed language from the list, click "Add," and save your changes.
On Lingohub, click the synchronization icon at the top of the page and choose "Pull" and "Update structure.”
Note: you should update the structure every time you need to add new languages, stories, folders, etc. to Lingohub
