The Stripo integration allows you to connect your Stripo email templates to LingoHub for multi-language translation. This guide covers the setup and project configuration.
💬 Please note: LingoHub currently supports translating Stripo Templates. Stripo Email Messages are not included in this integration.
Configure Stripo (Enable Localization & REST API)
Before creating a project in LingoHub, activate localization and generate an API key in your Stripo workspace:
Log in to your Stripo account and navigate to Settings in the left sidebar.
Click Workspace > Localization.
Toggle the Localization switch to ON.
Choose your Default Language (e.g., EN English).
💬 Please note: When turning on localization in Stripo, no target languages need to be selected in Stripo. You will define target languages inside LingoHub during project setup. Once you've translated your first template with LingoHub, the additional language(s) will be shown in the Localization tab in Stripo.
(Optional) Verify activation: Open any email template in Stripo, a language selector field (e.g., EN) now appears in the top header.
Next, in Stripo, go to Settings > Workspace > REST API.
Click Show to copy your API Access Key.
Create a Stripo project in LingoHub
Go to LingoHub, navigate to Projects, and click Create.
Enter a Project name and select Stripo under the CMS/Help Center category.
Click Continue.
On the Authentication & connection step, click + Create new authentication.
Enter a name for the authentication and paste your Stripo API token.
Click Create and then Continue.
Configure resource filters (Template Sync)
Define which templates to include or exclude from synchronization.
Understanding visual status indicators
Templates and directories display color-coded status labels:
Included: Green indicator; template is explicitly selected for sync.
Recursively Included: Yellow indicator; item is included via parent inheritance.
Excluded: Red indicator; template is explicitly excluded.
Recursively Excluded: Purple indicator; item is ignored via parent exclusion.
Managing template inclusion and exclusion
You can manage synchronization rules using either the UI or pattern rules:
Method 1: Interactive UI selection
Include: Hover over any template in the All templates list (left panel) and click Include. The rule populates under Synchronization filters (right panel).
Exclude: Hover over any template inside the Templates to be synchronized list (bottom right) and click Exclude. An exclusion rule is generated automatically.
Method 2: Pattern matching
📖 For a detailed guide on pattern rules and wildcards, see our article on What are resource filters.
Click Continue once your filters are set.
Configure languages and project creation
Click Add languages to select your source and target languages.
Set your Source language.
Review the project information and click Create project.
⚠️ Important: The Source language set in LingoHub must match the Default Language configured in your Stripo workspace settings.
Setup automated translation (LINA)
Once the project is created, configure AI automated translation:
Select your preferred model under Connect LINA (e.g., LINA LingoHub).
Assign LINA's role for each target language (Assistant, Translator, or Agent).
Click Save and go to project.
💬 Please note: Connecting a LINA engine is required for automated translation processing in your Stripo project.
Now that your project is set up, learn How to synchronize and translate Stripo email templates.
