How to synchronize and translate Stripo email templates in LingoHub

Once your Stripo integration project is created in LingoHub, this guide explains translation options and synchronization runs.

💬 Please note: LingoHub currently supports translating Stripo Templates. Stripo Email Messages are not included in this integration.

(Optional) Verify imported templates and files

  1. Navigate to the Imports & Exports tab to verify that the initial template import completed successfully.

  2. Open the Files tab to inspect all imported template resource files.

Translate template content

LingoHub offers two distinct ways to translate your Stripo template content:

  • Continuous translation with LINA: If LINA is configured in your project settings, newly imported or updated source text is processed automatically in the background.

  • Manual one-time pre-translation: To trigger a manual batch translation run across all templates:

    1. Click Pre-translate in the upper-right corner.

    2. Choose target languages, set targeting criteria (Empty segments or All segments), and click Continue.

    3. Review segment and character counts, then click Start pre-translation.

📖 To learn more about when to use continuous AI translation versus manual batch runs, see Understanding the difference between LINA and one-time pre-translation.

Synchronize content between LingoHub and Stripo

Manage data exchanges using the Stripo sync widget in the top-right header of your project.

Pulling updates from Stripo

If you update template layouts or source copy in Stripo, re-import them to LingoHub before translating:

  1. Click the Stripo sync widget.

  2. Select Synchronize from Stripo to pull updated source text and structural template changes.

Pushing translations to Stripo

To publish completed translations back into Stripo:

  1. Click Stripo sync > Synchronize to Stripo.

  2. Choose whether to export All or Specific target languages using the toggle.

  3. Choose whether to export All or Specific templates.

  4. Click Export.

  5. Monitor export completion under Imports & Exports, then choose the Exports tab.

⚠️ Important: You can't edit active templates in Stripo during sync
Close your templates in the Stripo editor while a translation pull or push is running in LingoHub. Open editor sessions in Stripo can lead to data overwrites and synchronization conflicts.

Preview localized email designs in Stripo

After exporting translations from LingoHub:

  1. Log in to Stripo and open your translated email template.

  2. Use the language switcher dropdown in the top header bar (e.g., FR, DE, IT) to switch between localized versions and inspect the rendering.
