Once you have set up the Storyblok integration, you can create a Storyblok project in LingoHub. This guide covers project creation, story sync configuration, LINA setup, the translation process in the Editor, and how to synchronize your content back to Storyblok.
Create a Storyblok project in LingoHub
Go to Projects in LingoHub and click + Create project.
Enter a Project name, then select Storyblok under the CMS/Help Center category and click Continue.
On the Authentication & connection step, select your existing Storyblok authentication from the dropdown (or click + Create new authentication if you haven't created one yet).
Choose your desired Storyblok space from the dropdown menu and click Continue.
Configure Stories sync & resource filters
LingoHub fetches your Storyblok folder structure as a tree containing folders and individual Stories.
Under Stories sync, browse the All stories tree reflecting your Storyblok content hierarchy.
Hover over specific folders or Stories and click Include or use the search bar to enter wildcard patterns (e.g.,
academy/**) and click Add filter.
If needed, you can also exclude subdirectories or specific Stories.
Hover over specific folders or Stories and click Exclude or select Exclude from the dropdown menu next to the search bar to enter wildcard patterns (e.g.,
alternatives/**)Click Add filter.
Review the matched items under Stories to be synchronized, then click Continue.

Review languages
On the Languages step, LingoHub automatically detects your source language and target languages configured in Storyblok.
Click Continue.
💬 Please note: Target languages are managed directly inside your Storyblok space settings and cannot be modified within LingoHub during setup. See our guide on how to manage languages in your Storyblok project for more information.
Configure LINA (optional)
On the Summary step, review your project settings and connected space, then click Create project.
Once created, you can assign a LINA to operate on your project.
Automated translation and quality checks: If LINA is assigned as a Translator or Agent, she will automatically start working (and approving).
Assistant in the Editor: If LINA is assigned as an Assistant, she stands by in the Editor to assist you on demand.

Manage Stories and translate content
As soon as synchronization is complete, you can have a look at the following information.
Stories tab: View all imported story files (analogous to the standard "Files" view) organized in folders and track individual translation progress bars.
Imports & Exports tab: Review the log history of all background synchronization events between LingoHub and Storyblok. For details, check our overview of project imports and exports.
Synchronize content between LingoHub and Storyblok
Manage data exchange using the Storyblok sync widget located in the top-right corner of your Languages view.
Pulling updates from Storyblok
Click Synchronize from Storyblok to pull content.
Update structure: Synchronizes your Story container hierarchy and newly added target languages without fetching text. Check Import new stories to automatically fetch text content for new Stories right away.
Import texts: Fetches and updates text content for existing story containers in LingoHub. Filter by Specific languages or Specific stories using the toggles.
💬 Please note: If a Story does not exist yet as a container in LingoHub, a standard text import will skip it. Run Update structure first to create the container.
Pushing translations to Storyblok
Click Synchronize to Storyblok to publish completed translations back to your CMS.
Choose whether to export All or Specific target languages using the toggle.
Choose whether to export All or Specific stories.
Click Export to update your localized content in Storyblok.
