What are sessions?

Sessions allow you to track and manage all active connections to your LingoHub account across different browsers and devices. Monitoring your active sessions ensures that only authorized devices maintain access to your user account.

How to view your active sessions

  1. Click on your user profile icon in the top-right corner and select Security.

  2. Scroll down to the Active sessions section to see your most recent connections.

  3. Click See all sessions to open the complete sessions overview page.

Understanding the sessions overview page

The Your sessions overview page provides a detailed list of all historical and current account logins:

  • Active & Type: Shows if a session is currently active (green dot) or ended (red dot), along with the authentication provider used (e.g., Email/Web or Google).

  • Device type, OS, IP-Address, and Location: Details the device type, operating system, IP address, and geographic location.

  • Timestamps: Displays the creation date and the Last seen timestamp for each connection.

Filtering sessions

Click the Filter button in the top-right corner to narrow down your sessions list.

How to revoke an active session

Revoking a session immediately logs out the connected device and terminates its access to your account.

⚠️ Warning: You will need to sign in again to continue working.

  1. Locate the session under Active sessions on the main Security page or on the Your sessions page.

  2. Click Revoke or the red dot next to the target session.

  3. Click Yes in the confirmation modal to log out of the device.

💬 Please note: If you see an unrecognized session and suspect unauthorized access to your account, revoking the session is only the first step. Be sure to change your password immediately (or update your credentials with your social login provider) to keep your account secure.
