At Lingohub Editor, you can use the "Advanced search" to refine the search query and easily find needed segments.

To switch to the "Advanced search," click on the search field and then on the "Advanced search" icon.

With the "Advanced search," users have the following filters:

  1. A case-sensitive switcher for specifying the text register. For example, if you turn it on and search for "Welcome," the search results will not contain "welcome."

  2. Search in languages β€” choose the exact language you need to search in. This option is handy if the word's spelling in different languages is the same or you are working with pluricentric languages.

  3. Updated since. Select when the segments you want to search into were updated.

  4. Search failed checks only. If you choose this option, Lingohub will search only inside text segments with the quality checks warning.

  5. Container and label filters. You can choose all or only specific ones.

  6. Select plural, untranslatable, deactivated only β€” filters that allow work in specific text segments.

  7. "The Add filter" button allows you to add multiple filters. You can find more information about it in the search filters article.

You can save the search criteria for future reuse by clicking on the floppy disk icon. Provide the name for your search and manage it. You can delete it anytime.

When you click on the search field, all the saved searches will be available. You will also see the search history and can expand each search query to see the applied filters.

Additionally, when creating the Advanced Search filters, you have two types of connections: "And" and "Or." All the quick filters in the advanced search have AND connections

  • "And" means that ALL the search criteria will be considered for the search result.

  • "Or" means that even one search criteria will be considered.
