When translating or reviewing text segments in LingoHub, you can view, create, and manage discussion threads directly within the Editor context panel without navigating away from your translation work.

Viewing discussions for a segment
Open the Editor and select the segment you wish to review.
In the context panel, click Segment info at the top and select Latest discussions.
āThe sidebar will load all active discussions linked to the selected segment.

How to create a segment discussion in the Editor
Select the target segment in the Editor list.
Open the Segment info panel on the right sidebar and click + Add discussion.
āIn the input box, select the target language context (e.g., English (United States)), enter your message or question, and click Save.
āThe thread will instantly attach to the segment and appear in the Latest discussions view.

Managing existing segment discussions
When viewing active discussions in the side panel, each discussion card provides options to interact with or resolve the thread directly:
Open in full view: Click the small pop-out arrow icon next to the thread title. This opens the discussion directly inside the main Discussions dashboard in the Projects tab.
āAdd a comment: Click the three-dot menu (
ā®) on the discussion card and select Add comment.Mark as closed: Click the three-dot menu (
ā®) on the discussion card and select Mark as closed once the issue has been resolved.

š¬ Please note: Discussions created inside the Editor are also automatically visible from Discussions in the Projects tab.
