How to create cost reports in Lingohub?

With Lingohub, you can easily manage your localization budget by setting up the localization rates. With such an option, you can automatically calculate the cost for each team member based on the translating efforts.

To manage rates, follow the next steps:

  1. Click on the "Reports" at the left-side panel.

  2. Find "Cost reports" and click the "Manage rates" button.

  3. Click "Add rate" at the opened window, and provide the rate name, currency, and costs for each effort - proofreading, low effort, middle effort, and high effort and click "Add". Read more about efforts set up.

Perfect! Now, you can use your rates for cost report creation! Follow the next steps to do this:

  1. On the Cost report page, choose the "Create" button at the top-right corner.

  2. Select the User and Rate.

  3. Choose project(s), label(s), period, source and target languages. Optionally, add a description to the cost report.

  4. Click "Create cost report."

Great! Your cost report is ready; you can find it on the Cost reports page. Click on the created cost report to find detailed information.

  • user;

  • period;

  • project(s);

  • number of translated words for each effort;

  • and summary.

You can also export your reports as CSV or PDF.

To get more information about each item, click on the needed string. You will find detailed data and a link to the work log in the new window.
