How to access editor appearance settings
Open the Editor from the top navigation bar or from the languages view of a specific project.
Click the Editor preferences icon (sliders/settings) on the right sidebar.
Select Editor Appearance from the panel menu.
Available customization options
You can adjust settings across four key categories:
Whitespaces: Toggle the visibility of hidden characters like spaces, tabs, and line breaks.
Density: Control vertical spacing and padding between translation segments.
Font size: Adjust the text size inside the source and target translation fields.
Table cells: Customize cell layout and borders within the editor table view.
After adjusting your options, click Save to apply the changes.
Density comparison
Adjusting editor density changes the amount of visible content on screen:
Default density: Provides a balanced layout with standard padding.
Comfortable density: Increases vertical spacing for improved readability.
Compact density: Reduces padding to maximize the number of visible segments on screen.
Font size comparison
Adjusting font size changes the readability and text scaling within the editor fields:
Small font size: Decreases text size to display longer segments with minimal wrapping.
Medium font size: Provides a standard, balanced text size for everyday translation.
Large font size: Increases text size for enhanced legibility and focus.
