Bulk actions let you apply changes to multiple text segments simultaneously, saving time when updating segment statuses, applying labels, or managing translatable settings.
Selecting segments for bulk actions
To apply bulk actions, open the Editor and select the segments you want to work with:
Manual selection: Check the individual boxes next to specific segments in the list.
Select all matching/visible: Use the top checkbox to select all segments that are currently visible or match your active filters.
Once segments are selected, click the Actions dropdown menu. You can perform the following operations:
Set status
Change labels
Change translatable
Bulk action workflows
Set status
To change the status of target translations across selected segments:
Click Actions, then Set status.
In the modal, select the desired target status from the dropdown (e.g., New, Draft, Translated, Approved).
Confirm the notice: "I understand that the selected text segment changes cannot be undone".
Click Run.
Change labels
To manage organizational tags on multiple segments:
Click Actions, then Change labels.
Choose an Action type:
Select the target label(s) from the dropdown list.
Confirm the notice: "I understand that the selected text segment changes cannot be undone".
Click Run.
Change translatable setting
To control whether selected segments can be edited by translators or reviewers:
Click Actions, then Change translatable.
Toggle the Translatable switch ON (enabled) or OFF (disabled).
When disabled, translators and reviewers are prevented from updating the segment's translation content.
Confirm the notice: "I understand that the selected text segment changes cannot be undone".
Click Run.
