Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Disconnecting by Request
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Disconnecting by Request
Updated over a week ago

Lingohub provides a two-factor authentication (2FA) option so users can protect accounts with an additional verification step. However, a situation may arise when the user loses the 2FA device and cannot access the recovery codes. In this case, the account will be unavailable.

Can Lingohub help to recover access to the account?

For security reasons, we can't allow authentication without 2FA for users just on request. If you encounter such a situation, you must begin the verification process.

Note: The verification can take up to three business days. You also need to remember your account password and have access to the email related to your Lingohub account.

Recover access to the non-owner account.

If you aren't the company's owner in Lingohub, ask the owner to send an email to our company with a request to recover access to your account (The application will only be considered if the email address used to contact us matches the company owner's email in our system.)

Recover access to the owner account.

In this case, ask the other owners or the three other company participants (if you have fewer than three participants, ask them all) to send an email to our company with a request to recover access to your account.

If you are the owner and the only user in the company

In this case, besides the message, our team will ask a few questions related to your account, allowing us to verify your identity.

Our team highly recommends storing the recovery codes after enabling the 2FA in a protected place so they can be used to access the account at any time.
