Focus view
Updated over a week ago

The editor provides detailed information on the selected text segment. You can add quality check rules, machine translation, and translation memory suggestions.

Access the editor from any page within the Lingohub app. Click the "Editor" button on the left navigation panel.

Lingohub provides two modes for the editor:

Each of them has its purpose. The focus view is targeted at working with translating text segments. It is more convenient for translators to work and concentrate on the segments. More about table view - read this article.

Focus view

Let's take a look at the focus mode in detail. As we discussed above, its primary purpose is to help translators work with text segments in a convenient environment.

  1. View choosing. Switch between the table and focus views for different tasks.

  2. Search field. Find the relevant segments by using the search syntax. You can also write the word or part of the text, and the search will find the results that include the exact text.

  3. Language field. Switch between different languages.

  4. Editing field. The place where you can edit segment text.

  5. Filter by segment sources. Choose the needed project, branches and containers to work on.

  6. Sort and filter tools.

  7. Status switch. Click on the arrows for fast switching between statuses. An example, if you need to work on the segments with the status "Draft," you can move to them in two clicks.

  8. Context panel with additional information. More about the context panel read here.

  9. The total number of selected segments.

  10. Navigation between segments.
