How to manage existing LINAs?

Once you have created LINAs in your workspace, you can easily view, edit, or delete them as your translation workflows evolve. Managing existing LINAs allows you to adjust assigned translation engines, update team access, refine context rules, and reconfigure quality assurance settings.

💬 Please note: Creating or managing LINAs requires management permissions for AI translation. By default, this permission is included for Owner, Admin, and Localization Manager roles.

Accessing LINA management options

To view and edit your active LINAs:

  1. Click AI in the top navigation bar.

  2. Select Linguistic agents under the AI section in the left sidebar.

  3. Locate the card of the LINA you wish to update and click the three dots menu icon.

From this context menu, you can select one of three main management options:

  • View details: Opens full configuration tabs (General info, Linguistic engines, Context, QA).

  • Manage team / project access: Opens a pop-up window to quickly update project availability.

  • Delete: Permanently removes LINA from your workspace.

Updating LINA details & configuration

Clicking View details on a LINA card opens a comprehensive management view organized into four distinct tabs:

1. General info tab

  • Name & description: Update LINA's display name or description text and click Save changes

  • Team & project access: Review current scope or click Manage access to switch between All teams and projects or Specific teams and projects in the pop-up window.

2. Linguistic engines tab

  • Default engine: Click the edit (pencil) icon next to the current default model to pick a new base engine (e.g., Claude Opus 4.7) in the pop-up window.

  • Edit routing rules: Click the edit (pencil) icon on an existing routing rule to change its target engine or language selection.

  • Delete routing rules: Click the trash icon on a routing rule and confirm removal in the pop-up dialog.

  • Add new routing rules: Click + Add rule to open the pop-up window and configure routing rules for specific target languages.

3. Context tab

Modify context that guide LINA during processing.

  • Toggle Use exact matches from the Translation Memory.

  • Assign or remove specific Style guides or Glossaries.

  • Toggle Labels and Text Segments context rules.

4. QA tab

Configure checks for continuous quality assurance. Enable or disable rules across Length constraints, Whitespaces, Placeholders, Formatting & markup, Terminology, or Duplication. Learn more in our guide on QA settings.

Quick access management & deleting a LINA

Quick project access updates

You can quickly adjust project visibility directly from the LINA list:

  1. Click the three dots icon on the LINA card.

  2. Select Manage team / project access.

  3. Adjust visibility settings in the Manage access pop-up window and click Save.

Deleting a LINA

If a LINA is no longer needed:

  1. Click the three dots icon on the LINA card.

  2. Click Delete.

  3. Confirm the action by clicking Delete in the confirmation pop-up window.

⚠️ Important: Deleting a LINA cannot be undone and will affect the entire workspace. Any target language workflows currently assigned to this LINA will need to be reassigned to another LINA or a team member.
