LingoHub's Translation memory (TM) is a database that automatically stores every translated segment across your workspace, preventing you from translating identical or similar sentences twice. While working in the Editor, it provides real-time translation suggestions alongside LINA recommendations to help you maintain consistency and speed up localization.

Match types
When you translate segments in the Editor, LingoHub searches your Translation memory for stored source-target pairs and ranks suggestions in descending order based on their similarity score:
Perfect (match) - 100%: The current source segment is identical to a stored entry.
Good (match) - 80% – 99%: The source segment is highly similar to a stored entry with minor variations.
OK (match) - below 80%: The source segment shares basic similarities with a stored entry.
How the Translation memory works in the Editor
In the Pre-translate panel, you receive real-time suggestions side-by-side from both LINA (acting as an AI assistant) and your Translation memory, allowing you to compare, choose, or combine the best options for your target translation.
